The Hands Behind the Flags **A Lifetime of Sewing. Generations of Knowledge. Eight Years of Flag-Making.** My love for sewing began when I was just a little girl, learning from my grandmothers and great-grandmother. These women taught me much more than how to handle a needle and thread. They taught me patience, precision, attention to detail, and the importance of taking pride in everything I made. Those lessons became the foundation of a lifelong passion for sewing. Over the decades, I've worked on everything from everyday sewing projects to intricate historical pieces, including reenactment uniforms sewn by hand. Working with different fabrics, construction techniques, and finishing methods has given me an appreciation for both traditional craftsmanship and modern sewing equipment. For the past eight years, I've brought that lifetime of experience to the art of flag-making. At Seabee Chick Chief, **quality begins with the materials.** I believe a beautifully sewn flag is only as good as the fabric, thread, and components used to make it. That's why I place so much importance on the materials that go into my Heavy Duty and Premium flags, from durable fabrics and 3-Ply construction to Color-Matched Thread and quality finishing components. My work includes traditional flags, custom designs, parade flags, ceremonial flags, and specialty pieces. Each project has its own requirements, whether it's reinforced Double-Stitched or Triple-Stitched seams, hand-sewn fringe, Pole Sleeves, Stainless Steel Grommets, or carefully finished edges. I personally sew and finish my flags. I understand the importance of proper construction, durability, presentation, and the little details that make a difference in the finished product. Some flags are made to fly proudly outdoors. Others are carried in parades, displayed during military ceremonies, or created to honor a particular person, organization, or moment in history. Each deserves the same attention to materials, workmanship, and presentation. When my Etsy shop was lost, years of customer reviews, photographs, and testimonials disappeared with it. Those reviews represented years of hard work and the trust my customers placed in me. But my experience, knowledge, and commitment to quality never disappeared. Behind Seabee Chick Chief is a real person, a lifetime of sewing, eight years of flag-making, and generations of women whose lessons still guide my hands today. I'm proud of the work I do, grateful for the customers who have trusted me with their projects, and honored to continue a craft that has been part of my life since childhood. **Some things simply can't be learned overnight. They're passed down, practiced, and perfected over a lifetime.** *Built to Serve.* **Seabee Chick Chief**
